The Movement begins here
Something is happening along the coast of North Devon—a stirring of faith, unity, and expectation. Awaken North Devon is an evangelistic mission filled with music, joy, and community, with the Good News of Jesus Christ at its heart. Churches across Ilfracombe are coming together with one purpose: to see our community encounter the love and message of Jesus.
Throughout the week of 6-12 July, teams will be out in the local area sharing hope and serving our town. But we now need to come together and take the opportunity to share this invitation with our friends and family.
The mission week will be filled with a number of high quality evangelistic events but these will only come together through personal invitation to your friends and families. Our heart is to fill the venues with as many people as possible who have been invited - by you - to hear the gospel and also have an amazing experience. The week will burst into life with a host of events such as: community lunches, a schools mission week featuring LZ7 & Saintz, followed by a youth concert at the landmark theatre. There will be a family fun day for all ages on the Saturday afternoon with a night of dynamic outreach for the whole community featuring music, comedy and storytelling with West End stars, Britain’s Got Talent finalists, and Andrew Palau sharing the Gospel. It all culminates on Sunday morning with a united church celebration service at The Landmark Theatre.
Awaken North Devon isn’t just a series of events—it’s a movement. A wave of prayer, partnership, and faith rising across Ilfracombe and beyond. Together, we’re believing for a fresh move of God to awaken our coast and our communities!
